Toronto Harbor Photos
Dave and I wandered around downtown Toronto and took the Toronto Harbor Tour last weekend. These are a few of the photos I took.
Not So Proud Moment
This past week, I’ve gotten acquainted with two Australians, a husband and wife, who are visiting the USA for a few weeks. I was stunned when I learned that one of the things she most wants to do in this country is shop at Wal-Mart.
Let’s just say it wasn’t a “proud to be an American” moment.

Statitical Musings
According to the Barna Group, "family" is the top priority of 45% of Americans. That's not surprising. A far more interesting finding is that, even though 90% of Americans identify with a religion, only 12% of American adults say that "faith is the highest priority" in their lives.
Here's another way to look at the Barna figures. The 12% of Americans who make religion the top priority in their lives are nearly matched by the 10% of Americans who don't identify with any religion. That's something to think about.
