Rain, Rain, Go Away!

I guess I shouldn't complain about the rain, really. The water table has been dangerously low in recent months. If this rain soaks in, that problem should be solved. It's been raining hard for a couple of days and the forecasters are calling for still more over the next few days. Since I was stuck inside most of yesterday, I played in the kitchen. Here's what I cooked up. I'm sure you can figure out the ingredients.

I was thinking about you guys today when I heard that you've been getting record breaking amounts of rain. I guess it's a good excuse to stay inside. We could use some rain here too. The ground is pretty parched!

Yesterday I missed most of the rain as I was on the road south...though I did get hit hard as I drove north on I 95. I took the wrong day to go to Richmond as if I had gone to the office I would have been home early afternoon as DHQ was closed early due to the road flooding.

Jenn:
Yes, it's milk splashing into colored water.

Bruce & I just watched the news report on the rising water. We were in the same boat (no pun intended) a couple of weekends ago. the camp ground in the middle of town was evacuated to the WalMart parking lot at 10:30 PM because the water was rising so fast.

Cool pictures! Very creative!
