Ordinary Spring Day

Well, February had some brutal moments and March came in like a lion, but spring is coming - slowly but surely - to northern Virginia. As you can see in the photo below, I've been relentlessly pursuing waterfowl and am looking forward to watching the first buds open soon.

SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING

I just found out a couple of days ago that I will be going to Myrtle Beach at the end of April with Joshua and his school band. One of their other chaperones can't go, so I'll be pinch-hitting. It should be fun. Now I've got to lose some weight so I can hang out on the beach!

I have always wanted to go to Myrtle Beach. I hear it is a neat place, and the water is warm during the summer months. Maybe we will get there someday. For now it is the tried and true Rehoboth Beach.

Great, these photos of ducks. One wonders what duck on one picture is the same as what one on the other picture. Which brings me to the question how ducks recognize each other.

It was very nice of you to sacrifice like that and jump in where you saw a need. I know Myrtle Beach will be tough, but hang in there. LOL!

Myrtle is nice, but for a quality beach and swimming...give me the Outer Banks in the Cape Hatterus area. And a crowded day there is a thin crowd in Myrtle.

Barb, I'm glad you have proper appreciation for my sacrifice. It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it. When can I expect you to nominate me for sainthood?

You actually may be nominated for Sainthood after surviving a trip like that with teenagers.
